As it has it is probably becoming evident through this blog, I'm doing a series focusing on Marilyn Monroe's image in pop culture and art. I started off working on a dialogue between the photos of the infamous "The Last Sitting" by Bert Stern...and it's expanding well beyond that. The body of work...is very much in the works. The progress and initial stages will be documented in this blog

Start the Art
So I'm actually going to entire the world of real-live blogging, well live in the removed-on-the-internetz-online sense. So hence the starting of this blog, which will mostly be updates on my work, and perhaps small ramblings.
Starting a blog for you work seems to be all the rage after graduating art school. Being that I've never been one for all of the rage, I've had this blog created but without posts for several months. Then I realized, 'o hai this might be helpful'.
The upcoming posts will mostly be related to my thesis work, which is focused on dealing with images of Old Hollywood figures post-mortem. Eventually I'll move on. Note by graduated art school, I meant almost-finished-my-degree-but-still-have-my-thesis-work-left-due-to-health-problems-and-then-done.
So if you're reading this , that's swell. This blog should get more interesting, because I hope my work will get better as I get my art limbs back after taking some time off from painting.
